Apple will release its new operating system on Wednesday  20th July 2011. Apple has officially confirmed on it’s earnings report conference call on Tuesday evening.

Apple has just announced record earnings selling almost 4m Macs in the last 90 days, something it is hoping to no doubt beat once a new operating system and possibly a new MacBook Air hits the streets.

We have no idea about the time of launch, although we suspect it will be sometime in the morning US time. Stay tuned!
